The Insurance Term of the Week:
Full Glass Coverage

This coverage, when added to your auto policy, provides full repair or replacement of all glass used in the windshield, windows and doors, and all glass, plastic or other materials used in lights of a motor vehicle without any deductible. Full glass coverage waives the deductible in your policy for these benefits.

Larry's Tip of the Week:
If you are in an auto accident, once you can determine that no one is seriously injured, you should first notify the police. Then write down the names, addresses, telephone numbers and license numbers of persons involved and of witnesses. Also, write down the license plate number and the state of each vehicle involved in the accident.

Do not admit fault and do not discuss the accident with anyone except your insurance company, agent or the police. Notify your insurance company or agent promptly. Cooperate and answer all questions fully.

Make sure you take good notes whenever you talk with anyone about the accident. This includes your insurance company, their representatives, the police and lawyers. Write down the date, times, names and subjects you talked about and include all decisions or promises made.

Save your receipts for such items as car rental or a hotel room, if the accident happens out of town, and save copies of all documents you send and receive.
