Larry Bofman LUTCF

Larry Bofman, LUTCF is a respected insurance agent of over 20 years experience. Larry served as an insurance agent and district sales manager for Mutual of Omaha, one of the nation’s leading insurance companies. Since Larry began his Insurance career in 1985 he has received numerous industry awards for top sales achievements, quality business and outstanding customer service.

Larry created and developed the radio program “Your Insurance Matters” as an advocacy show to provide information and advice to the insurance consumer. Larry says “I hated seeing people spend their hard earned money and not having adequate coverage, paying too much for their coverage or falling prey to the scams and rip offs.

The goal of “Your Insurance Matters” is to be an advocate for the consumer and help clarify the wide range of choices available in an interactive and informative manner.

When not preparing for his weekly radio program or assisting clients, Larry spends a lot of his free time giving back to the community through various volunteer activities. Among these activities is his involvement in an animal assisted therapy program. “One of my volunteer activities I am most proud of is the work I’ve done with my German shepherd, Samantha.” Larry and Samantha became certified through the “Delta Society” in the Animal-Assisted Activity and Animal-Assisted Therapy program. “It’s extremely rewarding,” says Larry.

“The animals provide a comforting and nurturing environment and it’s very rewarding to witness the incredible improvements the patients make physically and emotionally“.

Larry and Samantha were one of the Pet Therapy teams featured in a documentary filmed at the Barrow Neurological Institute and were also featured on an episode of “Sonoran Living” on ABC television. Larry and Samantha twice received the “Miracles of Love” award for their service to the community. Although Samantha passed away recently, Larry plans to continue in the program. He is training two new dogs, Shilo and Rupert, to pick up where he and Samantha left off.
